About The FARR Team:
Summit Organizing is a made up of the husband and wife team of Suzi Farr and former St. Louis Rams DT and current 101 ESPN radio personality D'Marco Farr.
Suzi Farr
Suzi attended California State University, Northridge & received her BA in Child Development with minor in Pyschology. After graduating, Suzi returned to college to take master level courses in Speech & Language Communication Disorder. She's fascinated with how language is developed in toddlers!
In the field of child development, Suzi served as a service coordinator providing case management services for children with developmental disabilities and their families. Some of the major responsibilities included; individual and family assessment and needs identification; planning for provision of appropriate services and supports; and advocacy. The demographics of the clients she worked with varied from Autism, Down Syndrome, congenital disorders, & various developmental delays.
After serving as a service coordinator, Suzi felt a strong desire to work more closely to children with disabilities so she became an Early Interventionist. She worked one-on-one with children addressing delays in the areas of cognition, speech & language, gross & fine motor, and social-emotional. Along the way of collaborating with different therapists (speech, occupational, & physical therapists) & doctors (neurologists & pediatricians), Suzi learned baby sign language as it was implemented during sessions as an Early Interventionist. Naturally, the next thing to do was teach parents how to better communicate with their infants or toddlers.
Suzi's understanding of family systems & developmental disabilities lays the groundwork of necessary skills to work with parents & their children. Her heartfelt compassion, detail-oriented skills & enthusiasm to create beautiful spaces are skills that have molded together to help in the world of organizing.
She's worked closely with parents & their children to help develop systems that work in their daily life.
